Axon Introduces Compact Body Camera for Frontline Workers
Axon has unveiled the Axon Body Workforce Mini (ABW Mini), a new compact body camera aimed at enhancing the safety of frontline workers in sectors such as retail and healthcare. Announced in a press release, the ABW Mini is designed to address the rising incidents of workplace violence and theft.
Weighing under 100 grams, the ABW Mini is 25% smaller and lighter than previous models, yet retains durability and advanced features. It includes bi-directional communication capabilities, extended battery life, and an LED matrix display for transparency. The device also offers AI-enabled assistance, providing real-time translation and policy guidance.
The ABW Mini is set to enter early deployments in the U.S. and Canada in the first half of 2026, with general availability expected by mid-year. Organizations interested in early access can engage now to secure priority placement.
