Axera Unveils M57-Based ADAS Solution at IAA Mobility 2025
Axera has launched a new Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) solution based on its M57 SoC at IAA Mobility 2025, announced in a press release. Developed in collaboration with STRADVISION, this solution aims to disrupt the global ADAS market.
The M57-based solution features an 8-megapixel high-definition camera with a 120-degree horizontal field of view and incorporates STRADVISION's 3D visual perception algorithms. It supports functions such as static object detection, vehicle and pedestrian detection, lane and road boundary detection, traffic sign and light recognition, and free space detection. The system is designed to operate under ultra-low power consumption, making it highly competitive in the global market.
The solution meets China's upcoming AEB regulatory requirements and complies with major international functional safety standards. Early OEM adoption has been secured, with mass production expected in 2026. The M57 series includes the AXNeutron NPU, delivering up to 10 TOPS, and the AXProton AI-ISP, enhancing dynamic range and low-light imaging.
Axera's strategic focus on smart automotive chips is evident as it showcases a series of smart vehicle chips and development platforms at the exhibition, aiming to power the next generation of intelligent vehicles worldwide.
