AVAIO Digital has announced plans to construct a $6 billion AI-ready data center hub in Brandon, Mississippi, set to be completed by 2027.

AVAIO Digital has announced a significant investment in Mississippi with the development of a new AI-ready data center hub in Brandon. Announced in a press release, the $6 billion project will span a 175-acre site and is expected to bolster the state's tech sector by creating numerous job opportunities and enhancing regional economic development.

The data center, named AVAIO Digital Taurus, will feature advanced infrastructure to support cloud computing and AI applications. The first phase of construction, covering over 600,000 square feet and providing 116 megawatts of power, is slated for completion in the first half of 2027. The facility will offer low-latency interconnection options and sustainable design elements, such as water-efficient cooling and rooftop solar.

Entergy Mississippi will supply reliable power to the project, reinforcing the state's commitment to clean and efficient energy solutions. The Mississippi Development Authority has approved tax exemptions for the project, further supporting its development.
