atNorth Joins Nordic Compass Alliance to Support Industrial Innovation
atNorth has joined Nordic Compass, a new pan-Nordic alliance established to strengthen regional competitiveness, resilience, and industrial innovation, announced in a press release. The alliance, chaired by former Finnish Prime Minister Jyrki Katainen, brings together more than 25 organizations from across the Nordic region.
Nordic Compass will coordinate efforts across key sectors such as capital markets, deep tech, defense, and energy. The group plans to present its first set of initiatives at the Nordic Compass Summit in Gothenburg, Sweden, in November 2026.
Through its participation, atNorth aims to contribute expertise in digital infrastructure, high performance computing, and energy optimization. The company operates data centers in Iceland, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland, and is involved in several sustainability-focused industry initiatives, including the Climate Neutral Data Centre Pact and the European Data Center Association.
Other members of Nordic Compass include Aker ASA, Alfa Laval, Danfoss, EY, KONE, Nasdaq Nordic, Nordea, Novo Nordisk Foundation, Vattenfall, and Ørsted.
