Assemble Launches Marketing Council Focused on AI Search

Sep 22, 2026
Assemble launched the Digital Marketing & Communications Council to help enterprise marketing leaders address changes in digital visibility caused by AI search and large language models.

Assemble announced in a press release the Digital Marketing & Communications Council, which combines its new AEO Board with the SocialMedia.org and SocialMedia.org Health Boards. The council will help enterprise marketing leaders compare strategies as AI search and large language models change digital discovery.

The combined group includes 394 companies and 1,750 individual members, representing more than half of the Fortune 500. Assemble says members report traffic declines of 40% to 60%, while nearly two thirds identify implementing answer engine optimization as a leading near term challenge.

The council will cover conversion and revenue, visibility in AI generated results, organizational responsibilities, performance goals and changes in media spending. Assemble will present the council at its North American Marketing Leadership Summit, scheduled for September 28 to 30, 2026.
