Artmarket.com Tests How Five AI Systems Interpret the Same Book
Artmarket.com introduced an experiment that compares how several AI systems interpret the same book, according to a company press release. The experiment uses "Dialogue Between a Thinker and AI" by Thierry Ehrmann, which is available in printed French and English editions.
The company is submitting the book to systems identified as OpenAI/Astra, Perplexity AI, DeepSeek, Google Gemini and xAI/Grok. Each system reads the book and then analyzes interpretations produced by the other systems, creating an additional body of analysis.
Artmarket.com will compare where the systems agree, disagree or omit parts of the text. The experiment does not select a winning model, and people remain responsible for comparing and contextualizing the results.
