Aprio Launches Venture Program for AI and Automation Investments
Aprio has launched Aprio Ventures, a strategic investment program for AI, automation, and enterprise software companies, the firm announced in a press release. The Atlanta accounting and advisory firm said the program will invest in emerging technology companies, work with founders, and test tools that could be used across its services.
Aprio has invested in nearly 20 companies since 2019 and has worked with founders to evaluate, pilot, and scale technology for professional services. Aprio Ventures formalizes that work and will focus on tools for accounting and advisory services.
The program is part of Aprio's Corporate Development Team. Kyle Kling will lead it, bringing experience in corporate venture programs and investments across AI, enterprise software, fintech, and emerging technologies.
Aprio Ventures expects to invest alongside venture capital firms and other investors. Aprio said the program is tied to its five year, $300 million commitment to technology and automation.
