Apple Bans Hidden AI Nudify Features From App Store

Oct 19, 2026
Apple revised its App Store guidelines to ban apps that hide AI nudification features during review or fail to moderate offensive content.

Apple Inc. tightened its App Store guidelines to ban apps that hide AI nudification features during review, according to TechCrunch. The revised rules also require apps with user generated content to filter objectionable material, provide reporting tools and let users block abusive accounts.

Apple prohibits apps from misrepresenting their purpose during review and revealing harmful functions after approval. The company says it will remove apps that add features not included in the version submitted for review.

The updated legal language also bars apps that promote human trafficking or the exploitation of children. Apple says its review process blocked more than 150,000 apps and removed 193,000 developer accounts for fraud and abuse last year.

It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
