Apica has released Ascent 3.0 with natural language controls for telemetry pipelines, fleet operations, alerts and dashboards. The release also adds approval requirements for potentially destructive AI actions.

Apica announced the general availability of Ascent 3.0 in a press release. The release adds AI assisted natural language controls for telemetry pipeline configuration, fleet operations, alerting and dashboards.

A built in assistant called Venn is available across the Flow, Observe and Fleet products. Ascent 3.0 also includes a Model Context Protocol server that lets customers use their own AI tools to manage pipelines, forwarders, alerts and fleet agents.

Actions that could delete or materially change configurations require administrator approval, while destructive actions are disabled by default. A new flow only mode removes Lake storage overhead and moved telemetry up to 10 times faster in Apica engineering benchmarks. Ascent 3.0 is available within existing Apica subscription tiers.
