Apex has raised $200 million in a Series D funding round led by Interlagos, boosting the company's valuation over one billion dollars, announced in a press release. This funding positions Apex as a key partner for global commercial and government customers aiming to build the next generation of satellite constellations.

The new capital will allow Apex to expand its production capacity significantly. The company plans to more than double its Los Angeles-based Factory One footprint by adding a new 55,000-square-foot facility. This expansion is expected to accelerate spacecraft production by 50% and provide additional space for research and development, vertical integration of strategic components, and expanded mission services.

Apex's recent acquisition of Phase Four's Hall-effect Thruster technology will further enhance its in-house propulsion system production, reducing risks associated with key bus subsystems. The Series D funding follows a Series C round completed just months ago, reflecting strong investor confidence in Apex's ability to meet the growing demand for large-scale low Earth orbit constellations.
