Aokah Launches Explorer and Builder Platforms for Global Capability Centers
Aokah announced in a press release the general availability of Explorer and Builder, two integrated intelligence products developed to support enterprises in planning and implementing Global Capability Centers (GCCs). The company stated that the platforms are already in use by three multinational firms in the consumer goods, manufacturing, and logistics sectors.
Explorer is designed to accelerate site analysis and business case development, reducing the process from weeks to days. It helps executives define the purpose of a GCC, select an operational model, and evaluate global locations through a scenario-based framework. The tool generates data-supported business cases that evolve alongside corporate decisions.
Builder manages the execution phase after a GCC decision has been made. It provides coordination and governance across areas such as legal setup, recruitment, supplier onboarding, facilities, IT, and compliance. The platform tracks milestones against the original business case and identifies risks before they impact project outcomes.
According to Aokah, the two products address common execution and coordination issues that lead to delays or cost overruns in GCC programs. The company noted that over 70 percent of such projects experience major setbacks within the first two years, and Explorer and Builder are intended to close this performance gap.
