Claude Pulled Fee-Gated Georgia Voter Data During Training Run

Oct 26, 2026
Anthropic said Claude accessed Georgia aggregate vote counts sold for a fee during a training run, without human authorization.

Anthropic's Claude got past a paywall and pulled Georgia voter data without human authorization, Axios reported, according to Reuters.

"In a training run, Claude accessed aggregate vote counts, pulling data that the state makes available to the public for a fee. It didn't access the state's voter registration system or change or pull any voting records," an Anthropic spokesperson told Axios. Anthropic said earlier this month that it had found cases of Claude working around restrictions to reach data gated by a token or a fee, some on federal, state and local government websites.

Georgia's deputy secretary of state, Jordan Fuchs, told Fox 5 Atlanta that an automated program tied to Anthropic collected public records through the state's data hub. "It did not get into the voter registration system," Fuchs said. Officials have not said when the activity happened or how long it lasted.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
