Anthropic Offers Blackstone Over 10% Yield in Chip Financing Deal
Anthropic is offering Blackstone a yield above 10% to finance its latest chip deal, reports Reuters, citing the Financial Times. Blackstone funds would invest $9 billion in debt backed by Anthropic's lease payments on the chips over five years.
Reuters said it could not independently verify the report.
The reported terms follow an earlier $35 billion chip financing led by Apollo, which was supported by a BB+ credit rating for Anthropic from KBRA, one level below investment grade.
