Antare Launches AI Security Platform for Camera Footage

Antare has launched an AI physical security platform that reviews footage from wearable and fixed cameras, detects incidents, sends alerts and documents events.

Antare has launched an AI physical security platform for cameras worn by staff and fixed cameras, the company announced in a press release. The UK company says the platform reviews video and audio as it is recorded, detects incidents, alerts teams and documents events in a console.

The Antare Console transcribes, indexes and scores each event automatically. Separate AI agents watch for signals such as physical and verbal assaults, suspicious behavior, safety risks, medical events and weapons. Alerts and live video are sent to colleagues through the Antare App.

The platform works with Antare wearable cameras and is planned to support existing fixed camera systems through Antare Cloud Gateway. Antare offers a Pro camera for frontline staff and a Compact camera for customer service teams, with cellular connectivity and unlimited console users included in a monthly subscription.

Antare says footage is encrypted on devices and in transit, then erased from the device after it reaches the cloud. Data is stored in the customer's local region and deleted automatically after 30 days unless an authorized user marks it for retention.
