AirportLabs’ Allegra RMS earns Fast Company design honor
AirportLabs said in a press release that Allegra RMS received an honor in the user experience category of Fast Company’s 2026 Innovation by Design Awards.
Allegra RMS uses AI to allocate airport stands, gates, baggage belts and check in counters. It combines schedules, aircraft movements, resource status and demand forecasts, then updates allocations as conditions change.
Operators can review, trace and manually change each allocation. The system is in use at Chicago O’Hare and more than 20 airports worldwide.
