AI Interconnection Summit Highlights Broadband Infrastructure in Kansas

Connected Nation Internet Exchange Points, in collaboration with Wichita State University, hosted a groundbreaking technology summit earlier this month. Tom Ferree, Chairman & CEO of Connected Nation, emphasized the importance of the new internet exchange point at Wichita State University, which is set to be completed by spring 2026. This facility aims to provide low-latency, high-capacity interconnection, crucial for advancing the National AI Action Plan.

Wichita Mayor Lily Wu highlighted the significance of the new infrastructure, stating it offers Wichita a unique advantage with a powerful, neutral digital interconnection hub.
