Agile Defense Appoints James Nowotny as Vice President of Justice and National Security
Agile Defense announced in a press release the appointment of James Nowotny as Vice President of Justice and National Security. In this role, Nowotny will lead the company’s Justice and National Security Business Unit, working with growth and delivery teams to strengthen partnerships with the FBI, Department of Justice, and U.S. State Department.
Nowotny previously supported the FBI’s Terrorist Screening Center, where he contributed to the development of national systems including the consolidated terrorist watchlist and the No Fly list. He also advised FBI leadership and the White House National Security Council and participated in interagency working groups related to counterterrorism and information sharing.
Before joining Agile Defense, Nowotny held senior roles at Tyto Athene, CATHEXIS, Paradyme, Spry Methods, and KeyW, managing programs for multiple federal agencies. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and a Juris Doctorate from Trinity Law School.
