AGCO has announced that its PTx Trimble brand has been awarded Fast Company's World Changing Ideas Award for the OutRun autonomous grain cart solution, announced in a press release. This award recognizes innovations designed to improve sustainability and safety.

OutRun is a retrofit kit that converts existing row crop tractors into autonomous machines, specifically targeting grain cart operations during harvest. This solution is currently compatible with John Deere 8R or 8000R tractors and will be available for Fendt models in 2026. The kit aims to address labor shortages and rising costs, enhancing farm profitability and operational flexibility.

AGCO plans to expand OutRun's capabilities beyond harvesting to include other essential farming tasks such as tillage, further solidifying its position as a leader in precision agriculture solutions.
