AEON Adds Chilean Bank Transfers to Crypto Payment Network

AEON said in a press release that AEON Pay now supports bank transfer settlement in Chilean pesos. The service lets customers pay participating merchants with crypto assets while merchants receive funds through local bank transfers.

Customers enter a purchase amount in pesos, then select a crypto asset and wallet. AEON handles the crypto to fiat conversion and sends the payment through Chile's domestic banking system.

The Chile integration expands AEON's settlement network in Latin America, where it also operates in Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Peru, Bolivia and Colombia. The company provides payment infrastructure that allows AI agents and users to fund purchases with digital assets while settling with merchants in local currency.
