Abu Dhabi Investment Office Signs 29 Deals to Advance Autonomous Mobility
Abu Dhabi Investment Office announced 29 commercial deployment agreements for autonomous mobility technologies during the Abu Dhabi Autonomous Summit, held as part of the Abu Dhabi Autonomous Week, announced in a press release. The deals involve companies such as K2, LODD Autonomous, Autologix, Sinaha, TractEasy, MLG, and Space42, and aim to accelerate the transition from pilot projects to large-scale commercial operations.
The agreements cover sectors including e-commerce, healthcare, and industrial logistics, with partners such as Talabat, Noon, Aramex, and PureLab. Real-world operations have already begun, featuring autonomous ground and aerial delivery systems supported by the Smart and Autonomous Systems Council (SASC), which oversees regulation, infrastructure, and safety.
Among the projects, Sinaha Technology is deploying AI-driven automation and robotics for logistics and warehouse management, while LODD is leading drone delivery pilots with PureLab and EMX. K2 is coordinating air and land mobility pilots using electric autonomous vehicles and drones for last- and middle-mile delivery in collaboration with Talabat and the Department of Municipalities and Transport.
Additionally, Autologix, a joint venture between 7X and Zelostech, has partnered with Emirates Post to operate Level 4 autonomous cargo vehicles designed without driver cabins. These initiatives are part of Abu Dhabi’s integrated mobility strategy under SASC, positioning the Emirate as a testbed for commercial autonomous systems in logistics and smart transport.
