410 Medical Raises $12 Million to Expand LifeFlow Infusion Technology
410 Medical has completed a $12 million financing round led by Orlando Health Ventures, announced in a press release. Participants in the round include Hatteras Venture Partners, Ballad Health, OSF Healthcare, Rex Health Ventures, CU Healthcare Innovations Fund, Sarnova, Catalyst by Wellstar, Tampa General, and a new undisclosed strategic investor.
The funding will support 410 Medical's commercial operations and the launch of the next version of its LifeFlow infuser, expected in 2027. The company plans to expand its presence among hospital systems and emergency medical service agencies in the United States.
410 Medical’s LifeFlow system is used in more than 500 hospitals and EMS agencies for rapid delivery of fluids and blood to patients experiencing sepsis, hemorrhagic shock, or other critical conditions. The company reports that approximately 80,000 patients have been treated with LifeFlow devices to date.
Founded in 2013 and based in Durham, North Carolina, 410 Medical focuses on technologies that improve fluid resuscitation for critically ill patients. Its first LifeFlow system received FDA clearance in 2016.
