ZPE Systems Launches NSR 2U Router and NVIDIA Jetson Expansion Card for Edge AI

June 01, 2026
ZPE Systems announced the Nodegrid Net Services Router 2U and a new NVIDIA Jetson AI Expansion Card at Cisco Live 2026. The platform combines networking, compute, AI acceleration, and out-of-band management into a single system for distributed and edge environments.

ZPE Systems introduced the Nodegrid Net Services Router 2U (NSR 2U) and a new NVIDIA Jetson AI Expansion Card at Cisco Live 2026, announced in a press release. The NSR 2U is a modular x86 platform that consolidates routing, network services, compute, and out-of-band management into one system for distributed and edge environments.

The NSR 2U features upgraded compute capabilities, ten expansion slots, and a new switching fabric. It supports high performance switching, security services, WAN optimization, and containerized applications, all within a unified system managed centrally across edge, cloud, and data center deployments.

Alongside the router, ZPE Systems introduced the NVIDIA Jetson AI Expansion Card, compatible with both the NSR and NSR 2U. The card enables local AI inference and acceleration directly on the device, allowing organizations to process video, sensor, and telemetry data without relying on external servers. This integration reduces complexity and supports AI driven automation for network operations and predictive maintenance.

By combining networking, AI acceleration, and resilient management in a single platform, ZPE Systems aims to simplify infrastructure operations while maintaining connectivity and recoverability during network outages.
