Zencoder has acquired Machinet, a developer of context-aware AI coding assistants, to bolster its position in the AI coding assistant market. announced in a press release, this acquisition aims to enhance Zencoder's integration with JetBrains IDE and expand its multi-integration ecosystem across popular development environments.

Machinet users will now benefit from Zencoder's enhanced capabilities, including improved JetBrains integration and augmented unit testing. The acquisition also promises industry-leading customization, allowing developers to leverage Zencoder's advanced understanding of large codebases and team-specific coding styles.

As part of the transition, Machinet will transfer its domain and marketplace presence to Zencoder. Current Machinet customers will receive guidance on transitioning to Zencoder's platform, which offers advanced multi-file editing, deeper codebase understanding through Repo Grokking™ technology, and expanded integration with over 20 developer tools.
