You.com Secures $100M Series C Funding for AI Infrastructure Expansion
You.com has raised $100 million in a Series C funding round, valuing the company at $1.5 billion, announced on their website. The funding was led by Cox Enterprises, with participation from existing investors such as Georgian, Salesforce Ventures, and Norwest.
Founded in 2020 by Richard Socher, You.com initially launched as an AI-powered search engine. However, the company has since shifted its focus towards providing AI infrastructure services. This transition aims to support companies in adopting AI by offering search APIs and end-to-end solutions that integrate multiple data sources.
The new funding will enable You.com to expand its product offerings, double its workforce, and open new offices in San Francisco and New York City. The company currently processes over 1 billion queries monthly and serves clients like DuckDuckGo, Databricks Inc., and Harvey AI.
