Withings Adds AI Heart and Lung Sound Analysis to BeamO
In a press release, Withings announced StethO Sense, a Withings+ service that provides AI assisted analysis of heart and lung recordings made at home with BeamO. Results appear in the Withings app within seconds and can be shared with healthcare professionals, but they are not a diagnosis.
StethO Sense uses eMurmur Heart AI to classify heart murmurs as absent, innocent, or abnormal. It also uses StethoMe technology to produce a Breathing Index from breathing sounds and patterns. The BeamO device and app guide users through recording heart and lung sounds at specified positions.
The service will become available exclusively to Withings+ subscribers on October 1, 2026. Withings+ costs $9.95, €9.95, or £8.95 per month, while BeamO costs $249.95. Existing BeamO owners and customers who purchase the device from October 1 will receive a complimentary one month trial. Withings also plans to extend StethO Sense to BeamO PrO for healthcare professionals.
