WeaveGrid and Oracle Partner to Accelerate EV Program Launches
WeaveGrid has announced a partnership with Oracle Corporation to expedite the launch and scaling of electric vehicle (EV) programs for utilities, announced in a press release. This collaboration aims to provide utilities with cost-effective solutions by integrating WeaveGrid's EV charging solutions with Oracle's existing utilities applications through Oracle's Integration Hub.
The partnership focuses on enhancing customer engagement and streamlining the integration process for utilities. By utilizing Oracle's marketing modules, WeaveGrid plans to improve outreach to EV drivers and facilitate easier enrollment in EV programs. Additionally, the collaboration introduces single sign-on functionality to simplify the login process for utility customers.
The joint efforts also aim to reduce IT demands on utility teams by offering unified reporting and streamlined data exchange across Oracle applications. This integration is expected to shorten the timelines for launching EV programs, thereby supporting rapid scaling and improving grid stability and customer economics. The collaboration has already shown success with WeaveGrid's inclusion in Oracle Home Energy Reports, and several utility project launches are planned for this year.
