WasteVision AI Integrates with Lytx to Extend Operational Intelligence for Waste Haulers

May 11, 2026
WasteVision AI announced an integration with Lytx that adds its Service Verification, Overflow Detection, and Contamination Detection capabilities to Lytx’s fleet safety platform, allowing waste haulers to enhance operational oversight without replacing existing systems.

WasteVision AI has integrated its Operational AI platform with Lytx's fleet safety system, announced in a press release. The integration allows waste haulers using Lytx’s technology to add WasteVision’s capabilities without changing their current setup.

The integration layers WasteVision’s Service Verification, Overflow Detection, and Contamination Detection features on top of Lytx’s video safety and telematics platform. These tools use computer vision to document collection events, identify overflowing containers, and detect contamination in waste and recycling streams.

Through the integration, WasteVision gains access to Lytx’s telematics data, GPS breadcrumbs, and dash cam footage. This enables haulers to view Lytx safety events alongside WasteVision’s collection imagery in a single interface. The system supports on-demand video retrieval from Lytx devices and stores all captured media in WasteVision’s unified library.

According to the companies, the combined system is already in use by waste haulers who report improved visibility into driver safety and collection operations. The integration extends Lytx’s safety coverage from inside the cab to the curb, providing context for operational and safety incidents across entire collection routes.
