TrendAI Awards Over $1.2 Million at Pwn2Own Berlin for 47 Zero Day Discoveries

TrendAI, the enterprise cybersecurity division of Trend Micro Incorporated, recognized global security researchers at Pwn2Own Berlin for uncovering 47 zero day vulnerabilities across major software platforms, distributing $1.29 million in prizes.

Trend Micro Incorporated celebrated the global security research community at Pwn2Own Berlin, announced in a press release. Through its enterprise cybersecurity arm TrendAI, the company recognized participants who discovered and disclosed 47 unique zero day vulnerabilities across multiple software categories.

A total of $1,298,250 in prizes was awarded during the event. Researchers demonstrated significant exploits targeting Microsoft Exchange and VMware ESXi among other platforms.

TrendAI stated that the disclosed vulnerabilities will be shared with vendors to accelerate patch development and strengthen customer protection across the industry.
