TIER IV Partners with PlaxidityX for Cybersecurity in Autonomous Bus Project
TIER IV has partnered with PlaxidityX to bolster cybersecurity for its autonomous bus project at a Japanese airport, announced in a press release. The collaboration aims to align the self-driving vehicle software with UN-R155 regulatory requirements.
PlaxidityX, known for its expertise in automotive cybersecurity, conducted a comprehensive gap analysis of TIER IV's current cybersecurity measures. This led to the development of a tailored service package addressing identified gaps, including a cybersecurity plan, vulnerability monitoring, and incident response.
The project, completed over three months, involved PlaxidityX's local experts in Japan, ensuring efficient communication and timely delivery. Following this successful engagement, TIER IV has also contracted PlaxidityX to implement a Cyber Security Management System (CSMS) to further enhance the security of its autonomous vehicles.
