Thyme Care Raises Over $125 Million and Forms Thyme Companies

Thyme Care raised over $125 million in Series E funding led by Morgan Health and formed Thyme Companies, a parent entity for new oncology businesses.

Thyme Care raised over $125 million in Series E funding led by Morgan Health, with participation from Humana, CVS Health Ventures, and other investors, the company announced in a press release.

Other participants included AlleyCorp, HealthQuest Capital, Foresite Capital, Concord Health Partners, Frist Cressey Ventures, Town Hall Ventures, and a16z Bio + Health. Thyme Care said its services are available to more than 10.5 million people across all 50 states and that it manages more than $7 billion in oncology spending.

Alongside the funding, Thyme Care formed Thyme Companies as a parent entity for new independent oncology businesses. Areas in active development include adoption of lower cost biosimilars and clinical trial accrual, with the first business expected to launch later this year.

Co founder Robin Shah will serve as executive chairman of Thyme Companies. Thyme Care will continue under CEO Brad Diephuis, with Bobby Green serving as president and chief medical officer.
