Tennr Appoints Dr. William H. Morris as Chief Medical Officer
Tennr has appointed Dr. William H. Morris, a former executive at Cleveland Clinic and Google, as its new Chief Medical Officer, announced in a press release.
Dr. Morris previously served as Chief Innovations Officer and Associate Chief Information Officer at Cleveland Clinic, where he helped develop internal technologies like the eICU and remote telemetry systems. He later became Chief Medical Officer at Google Cloud, leading the deployment of language and imaging models in healthcare and life sciences.
At Tennr, Dr. Morris will partner with health systems to build infrastructure that prioritizes urgent cases automatically and ensures specialists see patients who truly need their expertise. The company’s platform uses AI to triage and route orders and referrals so patients receive appropriate care more efficiently.
Tennr, which has raised $162 million from investors including IVP, Andreessen Horowitz, Lightspeed, GV, and ICONIQ, aims to optimize how health systems manage patient demand and specialist workflows nationwide.
