Tata Communications Launches Vayu Cloud Platform
Tata Communications has launched Vayu, a next-generation cloud platform aimed at transforming enterprise IT operations, announced in a press release. Vayu integrates Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), AI, security, and connectivity into a unified ecosystem, promising up to 30% reduction in cloud costs.
The platform offers on-demand access to NVIDIA GPUs, facilitating AI model training and deployment without significant infrastructure investments. It also includes an AI Studio for innovation acceleration and features like AI-driven DevOps tools to streamline operations.
Vayu's architecture is vendor-agnostic, simplifying multi-cloud management with built-in DevOps tools and API management. It ensures data security with a zero-trust framework and compliance with regulations such as the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules 2025.
Additionally, Vayu supports industry-specific solutions for sectors like government, finance, and retail, and emphasizes sustainability with carbon-neutral cloud options and energy-efficient data centers.
