Stigg Releases Stigg 2.0 for Real Time AI Usage Control

July 01, 2026
Stigg has launched Stigg 2.0, a real time governance layer that enforces credit balances and usage limits for AI requests, processing over one million events per second.

Stigg has released Stigg 2.0 at the AI Engineer World's Fair, announced in a press release. The update introduces a real time system that determines what each customer, user, team, or AI agent is allowed to do at the moment a request is made.

Stigg 2.0 enforces credit balances and per-user, per-team, and per-agent usage limits on every AI request. The platform treats entitlements as infrastructure that operates alongside billing, ensuring that authorization and cost evaluation happen immediately rather than at the monthly invoice stage.

The release includes a rebuilt credits engine with zero-overdraft balances, a governance layer that evaluates budgets and limits in under five milliseconds, and a metering pipeline capable of processing more than one million events each second. Stigg 2.0 is available now and includes a free tier that does not require a sales call.
