Spirographic AI Launches Tissue-Specific Drug Target Prediction Platform
Spirographic AI has launched a tissue-specific polypharmacology prediction platform that achieved industry-leading accuracy in drug target identification and side effect prediction, announced in a press release.
The system analyzes 200 pharmaceutical compounds across 195 biological receptors spanning eight organ systems, including cardiac, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, and neurological. It is the first to incorporate tissue-specific microenvironmental context into polypharmacology screening, distinguishing receptor variants across different tissues.
In blind validation tests, the platform achieved 54% primary target accuracy—significantly higher than the industry standard of 15–25%—and 44% overall polypharmacology coverage across known therapeutic and off-target receptors. It also generated over 19,000 novel target predictions, offering potential for drug repurposing and discovery.
The platform supports applications such as early safety screening, drug repurposing, regulatory submissions, and lead optimization. It is patent-pending and available for pharmaceutical partnerships, licensing, and custom screening engagements.
