Sky Labs Presents CART Blood Pressure Studies at ESC 2026

Sky Labs presented research on its CART ring blood pressure monitor for patients with atrial fibrillation, heart failure, and sleep apnea.

Sky Labs said in a press release that it presented five studies of its CART ring blood pressure monitor at ESC Congress 2026 in Munich. The research covered use of the device in patients with atrial fibrillation, heart failure, and sleep apnea.

One study found that CART produced analyzable data for about 80% of a 24 hour monitoring period in patients with atrial fibrillation. Another reported high agreement with conventional ambulatory monitoring in patients with severe heart failure and met European Society of Hypertension error criteria.

Other findings showed that CART met the society's recommendations for cuffless devices across static, device position, awake and asleep, and exercise tests. Research involving 62 sleep apnea patients recorded more than 12,000 breathing disorder events and associated blood pressure increases after breathing resumed.

CART uses photoplethysmography sensors and AI models to measure blood pressure continuously without a cuff. Sky Labs said the device has received more than 300,000 prescriptions across over 2,000 medical institutions in South Korea and plans to expand into Europe and other markets.
