Shield AI and L3Harris Collaborate on AI-Enabled Electronic Warfare
Shield AI and L3Harris Technologies have announced a collaboration to demonstrate AI-enabled unmanned systems for electronic warfare operations, as stated in a press release. The partnership aims to integrate L3Harris' Distributed Spectrum Collaboration and Operations (DiSCO) with Shield AI's Hivemind autonomy software.
DiSCO is a software-defined Electromagnetic Battle Management ecosystem capable of detecting, collecting, and analyzing threat signals within minutes. By pairing it with Hivemind, the collaboration seeks to enhance the ability of unmanned systems to sense, adapt, and act in real-time, providing dynamic maneuverability in contested environments.
The companies plan to continue further demonstrations and integrations, leveraging their combined strengths to deliver scalable, multi-domain solutions for the U.S. and its allies.
