SEMIFIVE Secures Preliminary Approval for KOSDAQ Listing
SEMIFIVE, a leader in custom AI semiconductor design, has received preliminary approval for listing on the KOSDAQ market from the Korea Exchange. This announcement was made on September 30, with Samsung Securities and UBS serving as joint lead underwriters, announced in a press release.
Founded in 2019, SEMIFIVE provides comprehensive end-to-end AI ASIC solutions to a diverse clientele, including fabless companies and OEM device manufacturers. The company has seen a significant increase in new order volume, growing nearly 17-fold over four years, from KRW 5.7 billion in 2020 to KRW 100 billion in 2024.
The proceeds from the upcoming IPO will be used to support SEMIFIVE's expanding pipeline of mass-production projects, accelerate R&D in advanced design technologies, and further global expansion. The company aims to lead innovation in chip design for custom AI semiconductors, capitalizing on the growing demand for AI ASICs.
