SANY Group Showcases Smart and Green Mining Technologies at Global Summit
The Global Mining Summit 2026 hosted in Xi'an, China, brought together more than 700 industry leaders, where SANY Group announced in a press release a range of smart and sustainable mining technologies. The company introduced its integrated "Generation-Grid-Load-Storage" solution, autonomous mining systems, and a full lineup of large-scale mining trucks.
SANY officially launched the SRT100S hybrid mining truck, designed for 100-ton operations. It features a direct-drive hybrid transmission and a high-torque engine that improves efficiency by 10 percent. The truck reaches speeds of up to 50 kilometers per hour and can climb gradients of 30 percent when fully loaded. Its dual-motor range extender and high-capacity battery system reduce energy costs by 20 percent.
The company also presented the SKT145Ei, its first fully electric and autonomous mining truck. This vehicle supports both on-site and remote control modes and is capable of fully autonomous operation. SANY’s smart mining solutions, which integrate cloud-based dispatch, vehicle coordination, remote control, and mapping, are now deployed across more than 20 open-pit mines worldwide, managing over 5,000 intelligent machines.
During the event, SANY secured expected orders exceeding 10 billion RMB, with signed agreements surpassing 5 billion RMB. The company stated it will continue expanding its electrification and smart mining strategies to support a more efficient and low-emission global mining industry.
