Sanas Expands Legal Battle Against Krisp with New Patent and Advertising Claims

Sanas has added new patent infringement and false advertising claims to its ongoing lawsuit against Krisp Technologies, alleging misuse of confidential information and misleading statements about Sanas' capabilities.

Sanas has expanded its legal action against Krisp Technologies, Inc. by adding new claims to its ongoing lawsuit, announced in a press release. The updated complaint, filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, now includes allegations of patent infringement and false advertising.

Sanas initially accused Krisp of stealing confidential information to develop its own product, improperly filing patent applications, and infringing on six of Sanas' patents. The amended complaint now also claims that Krisp has infringed on two additional patents recently awarded to Sanas, and accuses Krisp of making false advertising statements about Sanas' accent coverage and technical performance.

The lawsuit seeks monetary damages, an injunction against Krisp's products, and a legal declaration recognizing Sanas as a co-inventor and co-owner of two U.S. patents issued to Krisp. Sanas has also filed a parallel lawsuit in India, alleging similar patent infringement and unlawful disparagement of its products.
