Salesforce and Anthropic Announce Claudeforce for Claude CRM Tasks
Salesforce and Anthropic announced Claudeforce on Salesforce's website, a partnership that brings Salesforce data and workflows into Claude. Its first product is Salesforce in Claude, a plugin with 37 sales skills for sellers.
Salesforce says the plugin can use data from Salesforce, Slack, email, and other Claude connectors to create dashboards, review pipeline changes, prepare account plans, draft outreach, and update records. Actions run through Salesforce so existing permissions and business rules apply.
The system is built on Headless 360, which lets AI call Salesforce data, apps, workflows, agents, and governance through MCP without a Salesforce user interface. Salesforce says an admin can connect Salesforce in Claude once for a team, with access based on each user's existing Salesforce permissions.
Salesforce in Claude is available now to select pilot customers. Salesforce plans an open beta in September 2026, starting with sales skills, with additional skills planned for service, marketing, commerce, revenue, field service, Tableau, MuleSoft, Informatica, Data 360, Headless 360, and industries.
