Reflection AI Releases Beam Weights and Training Tools

Oct 17, 2026
Reflection AI has released Beam's weights on Hugging Face alongside recipes, evaluation tools and configurations for popular serving engines.

Reflection AI Inc. has released the weights for its Beam language model on Hugging Face, along with tools for customization, according to SiliconANGLE. The company introduced Beam last week. It has about 500 billion parameters and was trained over two months using several thousand graphics processors.

The release includes standard and quantized weight versions, post training recipes and tools for measuring changes to model capabilities and safety controls. Reflection AI also provided configurations for several serving engines and fused kernels that combine inference calculations to improve processing speed.

A separate drafter model supports speculative decoding, which uses a smaller model to create an initial response before Beam checks it. Reflection AI plans to release more recipes for self distillation in the coming days.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
