
Quobyte 4 Launches with Enhanced AI Training Capabilities
Quobyte has announced the release of Quobyte 4, a next-generation platform engineered to accelerate AI training and scale-out workloads across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, as stated in a press release. This new version introduces significant improvements, including support for ARM architectures, integration with cloud object storage, and complete end-to-end observability.
Quobyte 4 is optimized for leading ARM processors such as Nvidia Grace, Ampere, AWS Graviton, and GCP environments, allowing ARM-based servers and clients to operate seamlessly alongside existing x86 clusters. The platform also features new cloud interoperability capabilities, including Cloud Tiering and Cloud Copy, which enable cost-effective data placement and mobility across hybrid and cloud environments.
Additionally, Quobyte 4 offers complete end-to-end monitoring across application, network, and storage layers, providing real-time alerts and detailed analytics to help administrators quickly detect performance bottlenecks. Other enhancements include S3 versioning and object lock for improved data governance, an integrated DNS server for streamlined load balancing, and NFS enhancements for optimal performance.
