QuantrolOx Raises €12 Million for Quantum Control Software
QuantrolOx, a University of Oxford quantum software spinout headquartered in Finland, raised €12 million in Series A funding, Tech.eu reports. IW Capital led the round, with participation from the European Innovation Council Fund and Transpose Capital.
QuantrolOx develops machine learning software that automates the tuning and control of quantum computers across different hardware architectures. The company says published research showed its software tuned quantum devices in less than 70 minutes, beating the best human benchmark.
The company will use the funding to accelerate commercial growth and expand its work in the US. Existing investors include Hoxton Ventures and Arm cofounder Hermann Hauser.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
