Quali Positions Torque Platform for Enterprise Sovereign AI Governance

May 15, 2026
Quali has announced that its Torque platform is designed to provide operational governance for enterprises implementing sovereign AI systems, ahead of the EU AI Act’s enforcement in August 2026.

Quali announced in a press release that its Torque platform is designed to provide the operational control layer required for enterprises and government organizations implementing sovereign AI. The platform enables governance over AI deployment, model execution, and infrastructure policy across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.

Torque enforces policy as code, ensuring that every AI workload, including model serving and agent orchestration, adheres to compliance and access controls at the infrastructure level. The system provides secure, isolated environments with defined boundaries and complete auditability for regulated industries.

The platform operates entirely within the customer’s own infrastructure and does not require data or telemetry to leave their control. This self-hosted model supports consistent governance across different hardware and cloud providers. Quali stated that Torque is already in production across regulated enterprise and government deployments, providing a technical foundation for operational sovereignty as the EU AI Act approaches full enforcement in August 2026.
