Phantom Space Acquires Thermal Management Technologies to Support Orbital Data Centers

Phantom Space Corporation has acquired Thermal Management Technologies to enhance its Phantom Cloud orbital data center program, bringing satellite thermal expertise in-house.

Phantom Space Corporation has completed the acquisition of Thermal Management Technologies, LLC, announced in a press release. The move aims to accelerate the development of Phantom Cloud, the company's planned orbital data center constellation.

Thermal Management Technologies brings long-standing experience in designing and manufacturing thermal systems for aerospace and defense. Integrating these capabilities allows Phantom Space to manage the complex heat requirements of its high-performance satellites, including the upcoming Block I Phantom Cloud spacecraft.

Under the agreement, Thermal Management Technologies will operate as a subsidiary of Phantom Space, continuing to serve its existing customer base. Founder Scott Schick will remain as General Manager and collaborate with Phantom Space leadership on satellite development.

The acquisition follows Phantom Space’s recent expansion in launch vehicle and satellite manufacturing, reinforcing its vertically integrated approach to space infrastructure and data processing in orbit.
