Patriot Consulting Launches Microsoft ISOC Cost Review and Managed Service
Patriot Consulting announced in a press release a free cost evaluation for organizations considering Microsoft's Integrated Security Operations Center, along with agent based operations through its MXDR365 managed detection and response service.
The evaluation compares each organization's Microsoft 365 licensing, log volumes and data tiers with ISOC retention and ingestion pricing. Microsoft 365 E5 and E7 customers receive 90 days of Defender data retention beginning November 15, 2026. Ingestion of data from outside Microsoft costs $2.40 per GB beginning October 1, compared with the $4.30 per GB standard price for Microsoft Sentinel.
MXDR365 includes seven agents and playbooks for threat intelligence, targeted threat hunting, ingestion delay detection, incident analysis, identity remediation, phishing response and local AI processing. The service operates continuously across Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Sentinel.
The cost evaluation is available at no charge to Microsoft 365 E5 and E7 customers, as well as organizations assessing an upgrade to those plans.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
