Panasonic launches the TOUGHBOOK G3 rugged AI tablet, according to a company press release. The 10.1 inch Windows 11 Pro device uses an Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processor and supports Copilot+ features for processing data without a continuous cloud connection.

Panasonic offers three battery options rated for 8.5, 17, and 24 hours of use per charge under MobileMark 30 testing. The company says battery life is 39% longer than the TOUGHBOOK G2mk3, while an optional bridge battery allows users to replace the main battery without shutting down the tablet.

The G3 includes WiFi 7, with optional 4G or standalone 5G connectivity. It can survive drops from 180 cm and operate at temperatures from minus 29°C to 63°C. The tablet is currently certified to IP65, with IP66 testing results expected in the fourth quarter of 2026.

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
