Oracle Corporation has announced the promotion of Clay Magouyrk and Mike Sicilia to the roles of Chief Executive Officers, with Safra Catz appointed as Executive Vice Chair of the Board of Directors.

Oracle Corporation has announced the promotion of Clay Magouyrk and Mike Sicilia to the roles of Chief Executive Officers, announced in a press release. Clay Magouyrk, previously President of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and Mike Sicilia, formerly President of Oracle Industries, will lead the company into the AI era.

Clay Magouyrk, a founding member of Oracle's cloud engineering team, has been instrumental in the success of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Gen2, a platform known for its high performance and cost efficiency. Mike Sicilia, who joined Oracle through the acquisition of Primavera Systems, has been pivotal in modernizing Oracle's industry applications with AI technologies.

Safra Catz, who has served as Oracle's CEO since 2014, has been appointed as Executive Vice Chair of the Oracle Board of Directors. Larry Ellison, Oracle's Chairman of the Board and Chief Technology Officer, expressed confidence in the new leadership, highlighting their commitment to advancing Oracle's AI capabilities.

The company also announced other leadership changes, including the promotion of Mark Hura to President, Global Field Operations, and Doug Kehring to Principal Financial Officer.
