Ondas Holdings Inc. plans to use $217 million from its recent IPO to invest in defense technologies, focusing on autonomous systems and AI solutions.

Ondas Holdings Inc. has announced plans to invest $217 million raised from its recent stock market listing into defense technologies. The Boston-based company aims to expand its investments in autonomous aerial and ground robotics as part of its new corporate venturing strategy.

The company has launched a corporate venturing unit, Ondas Capital, which will focus on accelerating the deployment of unmanned and autonomous systems in defense and security markets. Ondas Capital plans to invest at least $150 million over the next two years, targeting areas such as unmanned robotics, advanced simulation, and AI solutions for autonomous operations.

Ondas Holdings, known for its autonomous drones and networking technology, serves various industries, including rail, energy, public safety, and government markets. The company recently acquired a majority stake in Israeli electro-optics manufacturer S.P.O. Smart Precision Optics Ltd., further expanding its capabilities in defense technology.
