Omada Introduces Identity Sovereign for European Digital Sovereignty

June 23, 2026
Omada has announced Omada Identity Sovereign, a new identity governance solution that enables regulated European organizations to deploy and manage identity systems on infrastructure they control, addressing digital sovereignty and compliance requirements.

Omada A/S has introduced Omada Identity Sovereign, a new solution that allows regulated European organizations to deploy and operate identity governance on infrastructure of their choosing, announced in a press release.

The offering is designed to meet digital sovereignty requirements that standard cloud setups cannot fulfill. It enables customers to maintain data, operational, and jurisdictional control, ensuring compliance with European regulations such as DORA and NIS2. The solution is fully containerized, allowing deployment across customer datacenters, sovereign cloud environments, or partner-hosted systems.

Omada Identity Sovereign provides full feature parity with Omada Identity Cloud, including AI-powered functions, regardless of deployment location. It also includes customer-controlled encryption and EU-based development and support. These features help organizations achieve SEAL-3, the highest level of digital sovereignty for identity governance.

The solution is currently in development and is expected to be available in early 2027. It extends Omada’s portfolio to cover all deployment models, from multi-tenant SaaS to fully sovereign environments.
